The map provided here is based on the postcode of the venue.
Royal mail are very good at allocating postcodes to buildings
but much less good at lakes and rivers. Therefore where a
venue does not really have a postcode I have tried to find a
postcode that is as close as possible to the venue. This might
be that of a nearby hotel or even the village post office. You
should therefore always ensure you have proper directions
for the last half-mile or so to the venue.

Type of water:  Small stillwater.
Description:  Tai Lake covers an area of about 3 acres. Spring fed, it holds good rainbow trout of 1lb to about 9lbs. Brown trout have also been stocked during 2004, anglers are asked to return all of these very carefully to the water until further notice. Fir and deciduous trees cover 2 sides of the lake providing shelter but leaving plenty of space for fly fishing.

Work was completed in the early months of 2005 to improve the access for disabled anglers at the dam end of the lake, by providing parking at the waterside, and resurfacing the dam area, this is a great asset to our members with walking difficulties.
